The exceptional cuisine almost justifies da Ivo’s over-the-top prices where you can easily splash out a pretty penny without realizing it. For starters try the fichi con gamberoni (figs and shrimp), and then move on to one of their grilled meat or fish dishes like the tonno con pancette e funghi (tuna with ham and mushrooms) or the classic Tuscan favorite fiorentina (a grilled prime cut of beef). You’ll need reservations if you expect a table to be awaiting you in their intimate, candle-lit dining room.
